Sorry for the lull in posting. I'm really busy with life right now. Especially finding great deals! Only problem is, I find them, then don't have time to post them because I'm too busy getting them!

So, as I mentioned earlier, I'm really interested in finding 1 or 2 others who would be interested in being co-bloggers with me. Perhaps if we each only had 2 or 3 main stores that we focused on, we could keep this blog updated with little effort, and better than ever!

My Smith's Trip!

I am SO excited! I just got home from shopping at Smith's. Look at all the stuff I bought!


Guess how much I spent. My total before they scanned my Smith's card was $240.34. I had $105.16 in savings from my Fresh Values card, including $40 for purchasing 80 items in the Mega Sale. Then I had $49.70 in coupons. My final cost was $85.48 for 96 items, a savings of 65%! Plus, I have to purchase only 2 more Nabisco crackers (I'm waiting for my mom to bring me a $2/2 coupon!) and I can submit for a $20 rebate I received from a coupon booklet they sent out in 2009!

Here's how long my receipt was:

True, there are LOTS of snack foods here, but I plan for them to last me a really long time, and also to use them in creative ways. For example, I got a bunch of the Capri Sun's and I thought they'd be fun to use as Valentine's gifts for my daughter's preschool class, instead of the regular candy they usually get.

The only full price item I purchased was pepperoni. My daughter and husband love to make mini-pizzas out of Rhode's roll dough, and we were running low, so that was a must.

Of course, I shopped the clearance carts in the back of the store again. My favorite find this time was Beneful meals for my dog marked at 50% off, just 49 cents. She's really picky, which is strange for a Basset Hound, and won't eat just plain old dog food. She'll instead hover under our feet and underneath my toddlers' while they're eating, hoping to snag a treat. So we've taken to mixing in moist dog food for her every other day or so to liven things up, and get her to leave us alone while we're cooking and eating. She's gonna LOVE these! I was so excited, I got 12!

I also found another fun dog treat. Purina Beggin' Strips & Canadian Rounds were $2.99, and part of the Mega Sale, so they ended up being $2.49. I found peelies (coupons attached to the product) for $1.00 off of 2 packages of the Strips, and another package had $1.50 off a bag of Rounds when you bought a bag of Strips! So I got all 3 bags for just $5! My pup gets so excited when we open a bag of these!

Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Keebler Fudge Shoppe Cheesecake Middle Cookies. I'm saving my coupons and heading back later this week, since they'll only be $0.19!

Best Deal Ever on Diapers! - Next week at Walgreens!

Check out Hip2Save for ANOTHER, EVEN BETTER, SCREAMIN' deal on Huggies next week at Walgreens! Only $2.99 for a jumbo pack! Can you way "WOW?"

I just stocked up on what I hoped was enough diapers to get to potty training with my almost 2-year-old. Now I think I'll keep her in diapers longer! Ha ha!

If you have the Children's Activity Book coupons that Hip2Save refers to, then tell our Walgreens first. Since the coupons came out before the store opened, they can't scan them. Instead they reduce the price of them - in this case to $7.99. Then use the $2.00 off coupon and get a $3 RR. Even if you don't have the Children's Activity Book coupons that's still one heck of a deal! Even if you dont' have ANY coupons, $5.99 (after RR), is still a pretty good price for Huggies.

Just a reminder about RRs (Register Rewards): Don't roll them forward to purchase another pack of diapers, or you won't get an RR to print out on the second purchase. Use them for something else in the store. It can be another item that creates a RR, just not the same deal, otherwise. Walgreens often has milk on sale for $1.99 and eggs for $0.99, and you can purchase items like that with your RRs.

Now let's just keep our fingers crossed that this deal will be available at our Walgreens! Huggies deals usually are, so we should be okay. :-)

Another Smith's Deal: Free I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray!

Remember my post about getting possibly FREE I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray at Smith's Mega Event if you had the right coupon? Now we can all get the right coupon, as a new coupon for $1/1 any I Can't Believe It's Not Butter product was just released!

Remember, you have to purchase the Mega Event products in multiples of ten. But this coupon appears to have multiple prints available! I just printed 4 from one computer.

New Goldfish Coupon - Use at Smith's!

Head on over to Pepperidge Farms website to get a $0.75 coupon for Goldfish! These are currently on sale at Smith's for $1.38, and if you buy 10 participating Mega Event items, they're only $0.88 each! With the coupon, the final price is only $0.13! The Smith's Mega Event sale lasts for another week, so don't feel pressured to rush out right now. But make sure you print your coupons now, since the website says there is a limited quantity!

You have no idea how happy this coupon makes me! Goldfish are a staple at our house. I like to think my kids eat lots of Goldfish as fast as we go through them, but I definitely eat my share!

The coupon is to be used on Original, Pretzel, or Flavor Blasted Xplosive Pizza crackers. YUMMY!
