Building Blocks for a Healthy Future is an early childhood substance abuse
prevention program designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 3 to
6. It is federally sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center
for Substance Abuse Prevention. Its free materials and Web site focus on
laying the foundation among children ages 3 to 6 in order to help them learn
to make positive, healthy choices in life.
There are several coloring books, activity books, early readers, and songs that you can download for FREE! There are even a few available in Spanish!
I'm planning on doing a joy school with my youngest next year, so this will be great to add to the curriculum! There are also fun things I'll do with both my kids some rainy day this summer.
