Kmart Doubles!

Starting April 4 and ending April 10, Kmart in Logan will be doubling coupons! You have to be a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, and you can sign up here (it's free), but I doubt the card will arrive in time, so it's best to sign up at the store the store. Make sure your cashier swipes your card at the beginning of the transaction. So what are "doubles?" It means you can use manufacturer coupons up to and including a $2 value. So if you have a $2/1 coupon, it will be doubled up to $2 for a total of $4 off the price of the item. This double event does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons, so Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled.

The kicker to this special event is that it's limited to 5 total coupons per customer per day. So if you are using more than 5 coupons in your transaction, ONLY the first 5 coupons will be doubled. People around the couponing blogosphere are upset about this, because it limits how much they can get, or means they'll have to go to the store each day of the event to really make use of the deal. But, I don't know, to me, living in Utah, a place where coupon doubles are so RARE, I'm excited! Even though I live on the south end of Logan, I still plan on driving there a couple of times during the week just to see what goodies I can get.

The great thing about doubling coupons is that it means you can get a bunch of items for FREE,or at least really cheap. I highly recommend looking at The Krazy Coupon Lady site to get a few ideas of what coupons you want to save/print for the event. Go here and here to see two great posts about this!

Keep in mind, the print limit of most coupons is two per computer, and there's also national and regional print limits. So once they're all printed, you can't print anymore! This means that all coupon queens across the nation are gathering their coupons NOW for this big event, so you should be, too! If you wait too long, the coupons will disappear!

If you have any questions about doubling coupons, let me know!
